Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to drop south across the Metro area between 230 and 400 PM. At 230 PM they were dotted from near Bay Port to Roseville to Brooklyn Center to the Montrose area. By 330 PM they should reach cities such as Cottage Grove...Bloomington...the Lake Minnetonka area and Watertown. A brief period of heavy rain is possible...but rain should not last much more than 30 minutes in most areas which receive precipitation.
