... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 7 am this morning to 7 PM

A Wind Advisory remains in effect from 7 am this morning to 7 PM
EST this evening.
Strong west winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts as high as 45 to 50
mph will develop across eastern North Carolina this morning and
continue through this evening. Winds are forecast to slowly
decrease late tonight and Thursday. Due to extremely wet soil
conditions... trees may be downed with power outages resulting.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 31 to 39 mph with higher
gusts are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
