* an intense low pressure system will pass through central Alabama on Wednesday. Rain... heavy at times... will spread into South Alabama tonight... well in advance of the surface low. The heaviest rainfall will likely occur between midnight tonight and 3 PM Wednesday... with rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Breezy conditions will develop around a strong low pressure system tonight into Wednesday. Sustained winds will be between 15 and 20 mph... gradually subsiding late Wednesday afternoon. A few wind gusts up to 35 mph are possible.
